Tennis players across the United States are switching from tennis to pickleball. Pickleball is played on a smaller court with a lower net and perforated plastic balls. This combination of factors makes pickleball far easier to play compared to tennis. However, good tennis players can translate their tennis skills to any other racquet sport with relative ease. Tennis is by far the most challenging racquet sport to master. It is therefore wise for newly converted pickleball players to not completely abandon tennis. Improvement in their tennis technique will also improve their pickleball skills.
